Research Center for Moral Science

Research Center for Moral Science is a research department of THE INSTITUTE OF MORALOGY inheriting the will of the founder, Chikuro Hiroike. It consists of six sections, each conducting research such as various ethical issues of modern society and comparative study of ethical moral thoughts around the world.

Especially in recent years of progressed globalization, the research center addresses and works on the issue of building a "universal moral standard" (common morality) which human beings can share beyond religion and ideology. Toward this end, it holds various international conferences etc, to promote research exchanges in ethical moral research field and to construct a global research network base.
